DMA 28 Charter 6………….2 programs headed in different directions. Charter is 7-33 since 2010 and DMA has had 3 straight winning seasons.
Sussex Central 27 Laurel 20………..The Golden Knights won their last 4 games to finish last season and Laurel has to replace a lot. Great matchup.
Dickinson 19 Tatnall 16…………Dickinson has a little more size and speed.
Sussex Tech 37 A.I. Dupont 17………..Sussex Tech is still the team to beat in Hen North and will score lots of points
Concord 26 Caravel 16………..The Raiders have the size advantage and Avery Roberts but they better not overlook Caravel. Last year Caravel crushed eventual State Champion Hodgson 39-8 on opening day.
Glasgow 41 Seaford 7……..The Dragons have a very skilled team and dropping down to DII might make a big difference
Archmere 21 Howard 16……….Both of these teams will be in the hunt for a DII playoff berth.
St. Elizabeth 27 Mckean 12……..Both teams will be improved from last season but the Vikings will prevail.
St. Mark’s 27 Newark 14……St. Mark’s drops down to DII but still should have enough to handle Newark. 1st meeting since 2012.
Middletown 21 Caesar Rodney 12…… Middletown went to the State Finals last season and should be better this year.
Lake Forest 24 Hodgson 20……….Lake has more players returning from last season and gets revenge for last year’s 1st round playoff loss. Don’t expect Hodgson to go down easily though.
Smyrna 38 Delcastle 20…………..Smyrna has high hopes this season and should get started out in the right direction.
Mount Pleasant 21 Brandywine 14………..Mount has won 5 out of the last 8 in this series.
Conrad 35 Christiana 6……..Conrad returns a good core of players and should be in the mix for a DII playoff berth.
William Penn 30 St. Georges 18……….The Colonials return a lot from last season and should get past a very good St. Georges team.
Salesianum 35 Cardinal O’Hara 14……….O’Hara lost last week to Marple Newtown 34-7 and was 1-9 last season. They last won the Philadelphia Catholic League Title in 2004. All good news for the Sals.
Last season 144-33
