It certainly seems like Caravel is ready to make the jump to State Champs this year.

Seems to be a somewhat pattern in 2A of teams breaking through. I went back to 2020. Howard beat Archmere in the State Championship game. Archmere won in 2021. Friends made it to the semis in 2021 and won in 2022. Caravel lost in the State Championship game in 2022. Is 2023 their year?
