Polytech didn't win a game last year. Lose their QB, starting running back and a few receivers. Not sure about defense but only had one recognized for all conference and all state and that would be their kicker who is graduating as well so hate to say it but expect another winless season for the panthers.
I have to agree! More so on the fact that they play teams like Smyrna, Dover, Sussex Tech, and even though they are on the decline, Central and CR as well. I honestly can't remember the last time they were even competitive against them.
As Long as that program remains in Division 1, they will find it tough to be a subpar .500 team. However, they may find success when/if they ever drop back down to Division 2, no disrespect to the Hen South, just that it's been pretty much the same two teams every year by the end of it so could compete with rest of the conference.

Polytech just isn't known for football, you see their sidelines and it's way smaller then other schools. The North is brutal it'll beat down on them. Smyrna put 60 on them and Dover put 50 it's not going to fun year for them next year. Maybe need to start recruiting haha.
"King" Gordy, the last thing Coach Smith would want is you on a message board. Handle your business in the off-season and on the field - the chatter will come when it's earned.
