DMA - has not looked like the DMA in the years past. They are slow upfront and big for no reason. Can't expect much out of them going into the playoffs. Lucky win vs. Milford, Archmere, and Saint Mark's. Stop Alleyne and you win the game.

Milford - easily the best team in Division 2. Lost a heartbreaker to DMA week 2 and to Polytech. Best defense in D2, the favorite in D2 since they knocked off the champs.

Woodbridge - probably the most well rounded team, good offense and a good defense and excellent returners. Knocked off a good Friends team by a touchdown. Only got beat by Milford who is the clear favorite.

AI - another one of those 'fake good' teams. Beat up on a bunch of cupcake teams and then goes and gets worked by Howard. Won't go far. first round exit.

Conrad - The best team they have had in a while. Will beat DMA this year again. In my eyes the 3rd best team in D2. Can air it out and run it with LB. Expect them to make a run in the playoffs this year.

Howard - good skills but no line at all. good QB but cant make it far without guys to block for them. Will beat Glasgow and win Flight B and get automatic bid in playoffs. Could upset a team but I doubt it will happen. If the lines cleans it up then they have a chance.

Caravel - The 4th best team in D2. Do not think there lines are all that. Very good skill positions, solid D. might make the playoffs but I dont think it will happen. Very well coached.

Saint Mark's - The 5th best team in D2. Very mobile QB who can also throw it. Big TE who can catch and a very good line that will plow through teams. Could make noise against Woodbridge this week and even more noise if they make the playoffs.

I don't see how my spartans could be considered below that conrad team who lost to archmere 21-7. Archmere also lost to st marks by a significant margin

No Delmar, tower hill or Glasgow? Both can win conference and get automatic bids

LB? do you mean the linebacker or is that someones initials? If the latter than havIing a Conrad player refereed to by initials would be a first on here lol

Tower Hill has to beat Conrad or Friends to get in assuming Harford Tech gets to 9 wins HT 9 wins is a virtual lock.

Conrad is not the 3rd best team in DII. St. Mark's is better than Conrad and St. Mark's is probably the 5th or 6th best team in DII, I realize that Milford "should" have beaten DMA but they didn't. So calling Milford the clear cut favorite is just stupid. There is no clear cut favorite in DII. It's wide open.

DMA is clearly the favorite. AI is clearly the favorite. Delmar is clearly the favorite. Conrad is clearly the favorite. St. Marks is clearly the favorite. Milford is clearly the favorite. Woodbridge is clearly the favorite. Howard is clearly the favorite. Tower Hill is clearly the favorite. Caravel is clearly the favorite. Friends is clearly the favorite. Archmere is clearly the favorite.Glasgow is clearly the favorite. Did I miss anyone? If I did, I am sorry.

There, go ahead and tell me i'm wrong. I know I have clearly identified the favorite. Geez, will you people ever grow weary of beating this dead horse? Let it go, let them play the effing games.

Sorry, now back to our regularly scheduled trolling.......

Why have a forum ? Just do away with all of them every where no discussion then seems logical

The only thing that we know for sure at this point is that no one in D2 is going to lock up a spot in the playoffs before week 9 is complete. AI & Milford could lock up autobids with wins in weeks 8 & 9. We could still have 10-12 teams in contention in week 10 as well as the final seeding arrangement.

Middletown can lock up a playoff spot with a win this week vs. Newark as only 6 teams can even get to 8 wins and with all of Middletown's wins versus D1 teams they'll be in. They'll be playing for seeding with a chance to finish 10-0 should they finish off HVT in week 10. Central should run the table and finish at 9-1 with Cape, CR, and IR remaining ( & throw 2 bonus points to Caravel & all D1s. HVT should get to 8 wins with St. Georges and Appo remaining as possible wins ( & give Howard & DMA a bonus point + all D1s) Should they beat Middletown they win Flight A at 9-1. Polytech has Dover, Sussex Tech remaining as winnable games getting them to 7-3 (giving a bonus point to AI & Milford in D2 as well as other D1s.) Smyrna has Polytech and Sussex tech remaining as clearly winnable games getting them to 7-2 with a Sallies game in the middle. Sals must win 2 of next 3 to finish at 7-3 to be in the discussion. CR sitting at 4-3 could win out with Brandywine, Central, and Dover and possibly steal the last spot from Sals.

Should the wheels fall off for Poly, Sals and CR we could be looking at a 6 team race for the final playoff spot with each team possibly having 4 losses for the final playoff spot.
