Henderson and O'Neill

I just got that update as well. As a Ravens fan I'd love to have him, however, not at pick 16. We need Playmakers on offense. Not an OT. 2nd or 3rd round it would be hard to pass on him

All of them said, "Congratulations Well Deserved"

My grandson would like a #84 autograph. I told him we will try at the DIFCA AS banquet.
I recommend everyone attend. The food is good and dessert is great.

These Coaches are truly a fraternity of men.

Last year I had a wonderful time talking with Brian's family member ('73 State Champs QB) he was very proud of him and his son.

It's good to see all take time out from their busy schedules to honor the future leaders of this great state and country.

We still have #84 autograph, just can't remember what happen to that QB.

Yeah, whatever happened to his Uncle?

Anyway, Mel Kiper has picked Brian O'Neill to be selected #14 in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens. I am kind of surprised that he is going that high.

You shouldn't be Bummie. O'Neil is very athletic (think multi positional)

Do you think somebody would draft him and then use him at another position? I think at this stage he is too talented and too big of an investment. Unless he lasts in the draft until New England. I wouldn't put anything past Belichick.
He might try to make him a tight end or another Gronkowski. That is too big of an investment for anybody else,

He will stay at tackle, his athleticism and potential are why he's going so high. He's still brand new to the position and one of the best in the country. He has more upside than most players in this draft

Unless he blows them away at the combine, I project round 3-4. But, everyone knows my history with predictions so I would love to be wrong and have him go higher than that.

If they had a Football player of the year back in 1965, FB Boo Young of PS du Pont would have won it. He was drafted into the U.S. Army.

A lot of DE high school football players have made the league in the past 6 or 7 years. There has been about a total of 15 to 20 of them who either made the 52 man roster or practice squad. With the size of DE, this is an unbelievable feat for the state.

It's crazy how big Oneill is. I am friends with his older brother and graduated from Rallies with him and he is 5ft 11 and 175lbs soaking wet. Brian has great character and deserves to go 1st round.

I taught Henderson at AI High and he is a very respectable young man. Always would shake my hand when he passed me in the halls. Although he had a down year (comparing to his AA year), I believe a team will take him in the 5th or 6th round to develop him at WR and make an immediate impact on their special teams.

Good luck to both!

On a side note, I wish Duron Harmon would get more local press the young man is about tonparticpate in his 3rd super bowl and has 4 or 5 INT a Year.

Has any other DE player in history been in 3 super bowls?

Lol no way in hell brian O’Neil goes 12th overall

He's on a lot of boards to go that high @DEHSfootballfanatic11

I was surprised as well thinking he would go 3 or 4 but based off his size, football IQ, and athletic ability the scouts like him a lot. Especially since he is doing so well for only playing that position for 3 years. They know he has still yet to develop fully in his position and the sky is the limit and he hasn't even reached his pinnacle yet.

I haven't been around for a while since my older son graduated, but I have another young Foghorn in the pipeline (10 year old who just got done killing his first year and ended up playing in New Orleans in the OD Bowl in December), so I thought I'd check back in and see what's happening.

At any rate, O'Neil is going in the first. It was interesting when I watched the Senior Bowl (or whatever all star bowl he played in), at times he was playing left tackle and other times he was playing on the right side.
