High School Fall Baseball

Could anyone give a few details on the high school fall baseball league in New Castle County? Thank you.

games are usually on Sunday afternoons, all teams are local high schools, Caravel kids play together, St Marks kids play together, Middletown kids play together. That explains how teams are formed, they usually play 10-12 games with some Sundays you might get a DH. Teams ran by dads, ex players or someone not involved with baseball program

Is the league run by Piedmont? Any idea how and where to sign up? Thanks for the help.

Someone was kind enough to post the schedule here last year. That would be really great if someone could do that again this season.

Contact your high school coach for info on signing up. If you are a coach from a local high school, yes I do believe Piedmont was involved with running it. If you don't have any luck there let me know and I can find out who is handling it this season for u

League run by Piedmont. Last year games were at Piedmont Library Field, HB Dupont and Bear Babe Ruth. Games ran all day Sundays starting at 9 AM. This is the third year. First year 5 teams, last year I think 10. Heard more this year. Season usually runs 8 weeks. Each team played 10 games in the past. With 2 doubleheaders. Have not seen a schedule yet.

- (13 Teams): Archmere, Caravel, Charter, Concord, Conrad, DMA, Middletown, Mt Pleasant, Newark Charter, St Elizabeth's, St Georges, St Marks, Wilm Christian (Surprised no team from Sallies)
