HVT was 5-5 last year in D2 beating Lake, Christiana, Dickinson, McKean and Brandywine, losing to Glasgow, Howard, St G , St Marks and Caravel..

Now in D1 they are 5-1 ranked 4 in the state .. go figure lol

I think the winner of Penn/St. Georges is the final team in the D1 tournament. Polytech's had a nice run, but they have Central, Dover, Tech and Smyrna to close out the season. Not sure if they can win the 2 they would need to get in.

I've only been inside Conrad's gym, I didn't know they didn't have visiting bleachers. My guess is either Dickinson or McKean would be an alternate site, which is a cruel irony considering how Conrad has sucked those two schools dry.

Newark was in the state championship 10 out of 11 years from 1995 to 2005 .. due to busing .. yet folks freaked out because Red Lion recruited some city kids (#AA kids) to a Christian School lol

Sills did not do what he did just to make his kid look good his kid was already good and had a offer. He truly felt he was on a mission to help other kids,,and he did but in the end yeah it didn't work out long term mainly because folks wanted all hand outs and not put in themselves or even fund raise.. Newark and Penn were decent before busing, busing just made them dominant because the charter school/vocational/private thing hadn't completely taken off yet. Now that it has, schools like Newark, Penn, Dickinson, McKean, AI, Concord, etc. are feeling the effects.

Three td’s and a 2-point conversion yesterday...Wow. I think he gets a shot to play on Sunday’s for sure. What a story. He reminds me of Chris Hogan of the Patriots.
