after this weekend, barring no upsets....

1. Middletown - 54 + 1 + 1 = 56(Bonus points from Penn and Concord)
2. Smyrna - 52
3. William Penn - 47 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 51(St. Georges, Middletown, and Concord
4. Concord - 42 + 1 + 2 = 45(William Penn and Middletown)
5. Salesianum - 37 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 43(Smyrna, Middletown, William Penn, and Concord)
6. Sussex Central - 37 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 43(Interboro, Queen Anne's, Smyrna)

Cape Henlopen - 34 + 2 + 2 = 38( Smyrna, Oakdale)

**All assuming Concord beats Delcastle and William Penn beats Charter**

Without any upsets next week, Sallies over St. Marks, Middletown over Concord, Smyrna over Polytech, William Penn over Delcastle, and Sussex Central over Indian River........

Playoff positioning would go....
1. Middletown - BYE
2. Smyrna - BYE
3. William Penn vs. 6. Sussex Central
4. Salesianum vs. 5. Concord

Smyrna and Sussex Central both have cake walks next week. Smyrna could have running clock in 2nd qtr. Central could also put up a big number on IR if they wanted to but I look for them to call off the dogs early and start resting some players.

Nice piece of analysis. If the Slowskys lose to Sparty can the math still work for them? They would pick up another bonus point from Sparty,

If they lose to st marks - - they would need sc to lose to ir or appo to lose to mount to still make it

If Concord was at 37 last week, they'd be at 43 after Delcastle..... would also be getting bonus points from Sallies and Caraval Academy I think...would give them the home game against Sallies, instead of the other way around.

they wont get those BP's until Sals and CA win next week

For some reason I thought that Sussex Central would end up with more points than Sallies and Concord because of bonus points, locking them into the #4 seed. Two weeks ago when Cape was still in the picture, we were saying some events would have to take place with SC even for Concord and/or Sallies to get into the playoffs. Is this still not the case? Wouldn't SC still finish ahead of these two teams locking in the #4 seed?

MT 54 poss+1 WP
Smyrna 52 poss +3 Sals Central Cape
WP 51 poss +2 St G Sals
Concord 44 poss +3 CA Sals WP
Sals 43 poss +3 WP CA St M
Central 42 poss +1 cape

Appo 40 poss +1 WP
Cape 36 poss+2 Central CA

The caravel win changed things- since it will allow an bonus point for concord - which will likely put them out of reach for central. Central does hold tiebreakers on both sallies and concord because of their opponents wins. However - it seems likely that sallies and concord will finish one point ahead due to the caravel point.

Howard i think has a legitimate chance at making playoffs as the 8th seed due to all their bonus points from Glasgow St Georges and Smyrna

Howard can't get in unless some upsets happen.. St M has 4 BP's sitting there if they lose

Wait explain this to me cause I was looking at schedules and it doesn't make sense didn't TH play DMA Friends and Tatnall so they would get 2 for DMA if they beat Conrad 1 from tatnall with a win over St. Andrews and then 5 for a win over friends and 2 for a loss to friends right?

RR you're off. I believe. Milford didn't play Friends. Also Howard should be earning 6 bonus from Smyrna, Glasgow, St. G. Waiting for DE Sports Zone projections...

1 From DMA has been applied to the total already so if they get 9 wins then +1 , 1 from Friends has already been applied .. The most TH can get if they win is 31 divided by 9 3.44

No because they would get 2 from friends since they haven't given either of the points to them since they haven't played them yet. The only bonus point they have right now is from DMA reaching 7 wins

They will get at least 4 more points even with a loss unless DMA loses to conrad
2 for Friends 1 for Tartnall 1 for DMA correct but if they dont beat Friends it doesn't matter.. Poss points were assuming the teams won.. so yeah TH could get 4 bonus but they a have to lose.. which takes them out of the equation anyway

RR are you sure Howard won't get a bonus point from St Georges if they win that will give them 9 wins

St. Mark's has potentially 33 points to finish with. Beating St. E's gave them 4 (24+4=28), even if they lose to Sallies, they'll get 2 points because D1 and 7 wins, provided St. Georges beats Glasgow, that's a bonus of a point because St G would have nine wins. Same for DMA beating Conrad and Caravel beating Willy Nilly Tech and getting to 7 wins. Tatnall can only get to 30 by beating St. Andrews and Friends beating Tower Hill to get to nine wins. Tatnall needs a LOT of help.

According to ur math RR, it looks as if my beloved Buccaneers are on a collision course with either Glasgow or St. G for a first round match up. If Milford can take care of business at Lake.

I struggle with math but after a cursory review of the numbers....and I am probably repeating other scholars here....I conclude if the Slowskys beat Sparty they host Concord in the first round and Central visits Penn.
If the Slowskys lose to Sparty they visit Penn and Central visits Concord. All of that assumes that a Central, Penn and Concord win their games.

Excuse my fixation on the Slowskys. They will pick up 4 if the beat St Marks (highly unlikely) but will pick up a bonus point if they lose to St. Marks who will then have 7 wins.

This is almost getting as tedious as the Electoral College Map.

No, but consider this. My HS closed down in 1969. Eventually, Brown was replaced by Delcastle. I went to see them play Charter this year and they got beat by 40 points!

Who can I pay attention to? (the Slowskys and Howard) The City is facing a rigged system. They closed down Brown, PS duPont and Wilmington High School. It is like losing 3 members of your family. The pain.

You're well intentioned, Ikey but do you have NY values?

If Caravel win would that give Concord and Sallies 1 Point since they would get to 7 wins?

While I may have "family" and ties to Brooklyn, my values are purely Slower Lower. I moved down here 15 years ago and have never looked back. Most of my opinions were shaped at an early age as a member of the United States Submarine Service.

Honestly IMO sucks for STG or Glasgow. As #2 seed they deserve to play Friends or some thing like that CA will be a tough 1st round game for anyone.

The loser of the St G-Glasgow game falls to the 4 or 5 seed, I believe.

St Georges and Glasgow Cant wait to see. I feel St Georges will win. But Glasgow has some athletes. But they have not been tested, SG has been tested and really could be 9-0. They played toe to toe with Wp opening weekend, I give JD allot credit for keeping them on track in 2016. Best of Luck to Both Teams....

Please pass on all my respect to the family, Ikey. I was happy that they finished that unpleasant business with Moe Greene on the day of the Baptism.

Also, please accept my apology for my obsessive compulsive behavior. I was raised 5 blocks from Bayard Stadium. Now, it is getting gentrified sort of like parts of Brooklyn.
