I noticed in the NJ obit section of the passing of a person named Pedro Swann. There was no written obituary. Pedro Swann was one of the greatest high school running backs ever to play the game in Delaware. He starred on several of Bob Hoffman's great Newark teams. Not a word in the NJ sports. I'm not surprised given the bare bones staffing there.

Yes, it was our Pedro. He was like 68. One of the all time greats. His son was a great baseball player at St. Marrks,

Hopefully there'll be something in there this week. Met Pedro Sr. once years ago as a kid while Jr. was toiling away in the minors. Very nice man.
