I see 4 interesting games this weekend. What are the the thoughts on these?

Howard at Hodgson

Archmere at DMA

Smyrna at Dover

Wm Penn at M'Town

On Sunday the nation's eyes will be glued on the Washington Redskins at Miami Dolphins game. My understanding is that it is the NFL Game of the Weak.

Can't wait until kickoff!!

To be honest, I see 3 blowouts, and a one touchdown game. Hodgson shouldnt have any issues with Howard despite how good Howard is. Middletown shouldn’t have any issues with Penn. and Smyrna shouldn’t have problems with Dover.

Archmere DMA should be a good one

302 is covering Cape-SC and Newark-St.Mark’s. I know there aren’t a lot of great games this week, but sheesh.

I think 302 is trying to expand their horizon with games instead of covering the same teams 2-3 times a year. I have nothing against it but damn, cover good games

302 is covering Cape-SC and Newark-St.Mark’s. I know there aren’t a lot of great games this week, but sheesh.

They are obligated to cover the radio games(Fox1290 and WDEL) and those are pre-determined before the season..Not sure if 302 doesn't have as many crews this year or if guys only want to work the 1 game but they haven't covered many other games other than the radio ones.. I think just 1 when Benny covered Caravel and WB week 1

WDEL game this week is Smyrna @ Dover.. Not sure why they are showing Cape v Central.. I know sometimes the school isn't equipped to or will allow 302 to show their games.. Don't know.. maybe they don't have that deal with WDEL this year and they can't show WDEL games? so they have been choosing a Henlopen game of the week each week.. kinda looks that way

They definitely showed allot more games last year.. 3 to 4 games a weekend

Not true this year. 302 took the over the 1290 broadcasts starting this season. Schedule is completely determined by 302. That’s why Buzby and his partner are no longer doing games.
Also, 302 is unaffiliated with WDEL.

Yeah and I just got it on good word the Henlopen Game of the Weeks were determined and approved by the AD's in July.. At that time it wasn't known that Capes best rb was transferring to VA and 3 other Cape players transferred out. so it looked like a good game then..Its the only Cape game scheduled and they tried to spread it around some

Archmere/DMA winner stays in the hunt for an opening round home game

Smyrna should hold off Dover while Middletown shouldn't have too much trouble out of Penn.

Lake/Delmar I think will be the one this weekend. Delmar needs to win to stay alive while Lake needs a win to really cement themselves as legit players in the D2 title chase.

CA v Concord
DMA v St Marks
Middletown v Appo
AI v Glasgow
Penn v Mt P (SAT)


MT already has 3 games
AI nor Glasgow have been on yet
CA v Concord could be close and big points for CA
Penn nor Mt P have been on this yet
St Marks on this week and DMA has been on.. don't need to see St M again lol
