New coach and a few other transfers helped that along at LC but yes he looks good and had a good season...

There were a couple of schools that he expressed interest in transferring to in Delaware, but they had little interest in him.
Should have enrolled and then tried out ... it’s not college where you’re recruited . Was he expecting a guaranteed spot ?
He had every opportunity to stay in Delaware (like at the school he was already starting QB at) so to say that Delaware let him get away couldn't be farther from the truth. Him and his family "explored" several schools in the state but apparently those situations didn't fit his needs.
More like shopped and didn't hear the magic words free and starting QB
Yeah I was trying to put it nicely but you're right.
When an athlete of that caliber that is already starting at a good academic school and is looking to transfer the red flags go up. All the coaches know whatever DE school (other than his zoned public) that kid transferred to would come under heavy scrutiny as far as recruiting claims and who knows what kind of stink Tatnall would have raised.. All they were going to hear was " Seems like a great kid that XXXXXXXX high/academy would love to have you need to go to the admissions office" If they perceived that as not being wanted then that's on them..
