Jump balls

Can someone tell me why they got rid of the jump ball and went to the possession arrow? Anyone in favor of going back?

I'd forgotten that they used to have a jump ball after every basket. No way do I want that to return, but I think I'd like to see the jump ball return when a player ties up another player.

One interesting thing is that Dr. Naismith..the inventor of basketball...went on to coach Kansas for 10 years. I wonder if he ever worked an official by saying like: "I invented this game. What the hell are you doing out there?"
