Noticed now that some of the schools are going to play 6 on 6 tackle football - most notably Red Lion. I guess lower participation is really starting to hit or is this a sign of where Red Lion might be headed?

Red Lion has been fielding a varsity team and a middle school team since 2016. The middle school numbers have been steady, and the varsity numbers have been slowly growing. The goal has been to field a JV team in between those two levels without hurting the numbers on those existing teams. The 6 on 6 games are the start of that process. They have a full schedule of 6 on 6 games to play, so other schools must be going that route.

Caravel should have jumped in on the 6v6 thing. They have the same roster size as Red Lion.. Probably more talent at CA at this juncture but that may be just a matter of time for RLCA
