Knight to UD

Bad move... Smh.. UD is horrible. .. Should of left Delaware and went and played against the big boys .. Instead of playing at UD... Wow... Sad..

Rich Gannon, Joe Flacco, Mike Adams & Ben Patrick to name a few would disagree.

By the time they rebuild football program.. He be graduated and gone...smh

So what? It's not like If he went to a low tier D1 school he'd have a better shot at being a pro. Those are long long long odds regardless. At least he will be playing at a relatively high level with one of his best friends at a school with excellent academics.

Again, you probably can't see the value in that because you probably don't value education. Not your fault though, those values are instilled as a child.

Doesnt have the size but nothing wrong with UD and staying local. Kani Kane in the house as well. Personally I am looking forward to attending some UD games and seeing kids I saw in HS. I dont even care about Bama and those crooked ass recruiting machine where players are NFL or bust and don't graduate and if they do its some meaningless unemployable degree that also requires talent like broadcaster or something

@ravensrooster2, Roll Tide, I was stationed at Ft McClellan and went to a couple of Alabama games, incredible football experience, insane atmosphere, definitely made me a fan just saying

In football it doesn't matter where you are, it matters how good you are! If you are good they will find you! Ever heard of Mississippi Valley State ?? Someone called Jerry Rice went there oh and wait another small school called Delaware State?? John Taylor went there, Widener ?? Billy "White Shoes" Johnson. Not where you go, it is what you do when you get there!! Every pro does not come from Alabama, OSU, Michigan, Clemson, etc.

You saying names that reired 20 years ago... Lol.. Its all about where you go now of days.. But dont hate UD at all.. Far as there Sports program. Please.. Waist of time.. You all act like its a great program.. Smh.. Lost in time...

Aaron Rogers was unknown out of HS, went JUCO a year and pickup by California. Local boy Drew Brees got no love from Texas. Recruits get pegged or missed all the time. Romo and Ben R. (Steelers) came out of the MAC Conference, Jaworski out of FCS Youngstown State (depressing town).

UD is a fine FCS option, particularly with new HC. He'll do fine wherever he lands. Congrats.

Hoopsdownstate had a bunch of D1 offers so he's allowed to talk shit. He turned them all down however to pursue a career as a stay at home son

Still got another year... Offers where definely coming.. Way stronger than UD.. Just saying far as UD strictly football. . Aint no way in hell i would commit this early. ..
This is such an ignorant statement...UD has been down but has a stadium that holds 20k plus, top academic program, indoor facility, and a proven winning coach. Strictly football?? They still play in the best FCS conference in the country, and in 2 or 3 years (his r-soph year), I am afraid they are going to back in the playoffs and playing great football.

I have watched him play for the last 2 years and is a really, really good a football player and I think he is at the perfect level--no disrespect, but I don't think he is playing at a Power 5 school. Going to a low level FBS program just to say he went to a bigger school, does not make sense to me. He was comfortable with the school, so it's the perfect choice for him. Best of luck to him!!

Before it is said/ask...I am not a Smyrna person and I do not know the Knight family AT all. I am a UD fan, but I am no longer permitted to cheer them on (at least for next 5 years).

All of you keep talking about academics.. Let me say this ounce again for you slow people.. Iam strictly talking about football program.. No other sport... Or academics... Smh.. And if you think UD has a great football program.. Stop watching football... 20,000 a is a very small stadium too.. Think you need take a trip out of Delaware.. Smh

I have never heard anyone blowing smoke about how good UD football program is. You seem to be going out of your way to put it down. The program and the facilities are not bad. There are better and worse. Instead of blanket statements, what is wrong with UD program? So bad that a DE kid should be shamed for going there?

Unless you have inside information that he had offers from big time FBS schools and decided on an FCS school, then your statement and position is still ignorant.

Don't give me low level FCS schools like Coastal (less than 10k seating), ODU (20k) Ball State (23k)etc
