A rematch from the regular season. Delmar won the first meeting 34-6 and is the favorite to win again.

Excellent break down Truth..

Lake's QB was injured early in the third quarter the last Delmar/Lake game. Delmar was well ahead at that point, but I can see Lake getting two scores if he plays all game. That still won't be enough to win, as Lake's defense is not up to stopping Delmar's offense unless Delmar makes a lot of mistakes.

Agree. Only way Delmar loses if they do the same thing they did against Friends and turn the ball over a lot. If they play Delmar football, then the score will be similar to first meeting. Delmar 27- Lake 10.

True dat.. better break out the pass game they put on Milford in the end but sooner

Absolutely weird. Obviously I didn’t watch the game(couldn’t make it and 302sports stream was down) but when I read 13 straight passing plays I was like woah!!! What happened to Johnson? I mean I don’t know how hard it is to at least move more towards an offense to where you have to respect Lakes passing game. I’m not saying go full spread offense and throw 50 times but something like 10 times a game shouldn’t be impossible. Huge reason why Johnson has never won a playoff game despite having some pretty talented teams over the years. Teams might as well put their whole defense in the box.

Delmar's Dbacks are solid. If Lake tries to pass a lot, Delmar will most likely get interceptions. Delmar intercepted the passing QB from Easton twice, tied for his most all season, and had at least one easy interception dropped.

They also intercepted Woodbridge's QB twice on fewer passes.

Just watched the game film of Lake's go ahead drive against Milford. They called 12 passes in 13 plays with two of them being QB scrambles. 6 complete, 3 incomplete, 1 pass interference. Not bad, but 1 and possibly 2 of the passes would have been intercepted by competent DBacks. Most of the passes went to the flats, with Milford's Corners giving at least 8 yard cushions, and the receivers being wide open.

Still, an impressive drive.
