Neither Leddie Brown or Will Knight are leaving.
Why would they?
Have it perfect at Smyrna. Easy state title, will both rush for over 1000 yards and already have college scholarships to big time schools. Doesn't make sense to leave the perfect situation.

I would think it would be wise to wait to make a decision like that until well into the summer when there is a better idea who and what poss they play actually transfers in.. Like last year it will change many times from now until mid summer
I saw some of Knights offers didn't see any big time schools I would think he has to have a few bigger than the ones I saw.Do you know any of the bigger schools have offered him
He doesn't have any "big" offers, he would get them in my opinion, he is just as good if. It better than Brightwell and look at the offers he gained, and eventually commuted to after he transferred
I think that big time scouts like to see how potential recruits do in difficult situations, big games and such. I'm thinking both players don't see much of that in the Henlopen. Too good for the level of competition I guess. SFP, I think, wants to be the IMG Academy of the North. Doesn't hurt alumni contributions either.
I don't think Knight will go anywhere although he could use a school like St. F to enhance his looks. Leddie has no smyrna loyalty. His ECA friends are at St. F so I can see him rejoining them. Remember he was used as a slot last year. Knight got the bulk of the touches. No Henderson to get Leddie ball in the air so that could factor in. I like Knight at Q and Leddie at H. Worked well in the chip.
But there got a pretty good QB from Glasgow no ?
He may not be the passer of Nolan but he is capable to bomb it.
All else fails they can run the ball 600 times next year if need be, 250 for both brown and Knight 100 to the QB
Yeah but hard to replace a scholarship qb with that moxie. Even with Henderson the chip consisted of running the ball. I don't think that changes no matter who is at qb.
I think Knight has a lot more to gain than Leddie because he could use the exposure. Leddie already has the offers.
On the other hand, Knight is pretty tied to the community and everyone here loves him so it would probably be less likely he does leave.

Again Leddie has the offers because he is out VISITING the schools,
I bet if Knoght did the same thing he would have sown offers. Coaches just aren't visiting Smyrna

I'm not familiar with the recruiting process but are you saying that Leddie is just showing up at schools and that's why they're offering him? I can't imagine a school inviting Will and him not going
He can get invited all he wants but it still cost money, and take time to get to the school.
Lucky for Leddie I know his mother is very involved and invested and blessed enough to be able to get him out to a school every weekend it seems.
Maybe knight isn't in the same situation. I really don't know.
I do know that he is Getting offering every time he steps on a campus
Playing for ECA I'm sure Leddie has been seen around the country so he has the exsposure needed to go to a big time school. Considering he also has the talent. Also I'm sure the ECA coaching staff is still helping him get recruited even though the school is closed.

In the recruiting process, most players have already been in contact with a coach. I know for a fact that, unless an SEC, most Big 10, and top ranked ACC and PAC 12 coaches see you in person, they will not offer. They may like the film, but they want you to come in to see if you look the way you play. They also don't like just putting offers out there, and an unofficial visit on your dime shows interest and that you would really consider going there.
Can you Blame LB if he wants to leave Smyrna? They played him like a decoy all yr. He done a lot for Smyrna program they never seen the recruiting that he brought to them. The Coaches didn't use the RBs equal and having the best backs in the state they could have done more with them. Wouldn't Blame them if they left.
Well they were undefeated and won the state championship. And both were first team all state. And Leddie has offers to a lot of big time schools.
Maybe you should coach so these kids can "do more." I'm sure you have the spare time.
I agree tho, with LBs talent, they could have done more, but I think the coaches did a pretty damn good job to win states.

Hard to give two players like that who play the same position the stats that LB's uncle might want him to have. Especially considering the fact that they also had a really good QB and receivers. Also especially considering they were up so quickly on so many teams that they didn't need to play them the whole game.
LB had the Big schools school Before Smyrna and what has they done for Knight to get that kid to school for free? Ijs
The school is not St Francis it's St Frances Academy. The school started as a all girl school to help underprivileged girls get a education in the late 1800's. It was called St Frances of Rome they changed to current name when they went co-ed

What does any of that have to do with Smyrna put kids is schools for free after those kids won to State Championship for the Coaches!!! If they stay or go LB & Knight are Good Kids on and off the field. The Coaches need to give them the opportunity to change there Destination in Life... Not trying to be negative about the situation.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was on my way to Assisi to check it out.
