I continue to hear of lots of movement with quite a few girls basketball players/teams throughout the state. Four schools will have new head coaches. Will St. Thomas field a competitive team or are the players transferring to Dover & CR? Players leaving for out of state & also leaving for schools in state. Should be interesting come September when school starts. Hearing of players leaving for Westtown- PA, St. Roes's- NJ, Long Island Luthern- NY & St. Joseph's- NY. Is it best for the players to leave? Will it really benefit them? Isn't this what AAU is all about?

But your right if some of the rumors are true with some of the upstate girls leaving the state. I think this season will be interesting but we're going to have to see on the first day of school who's where.

I saw Alisha Lewis is heading to LI Lutheran. Now I'm sad, she was one of my favorite players to watch, BUT when you win POY as a soph in this state...kinda gotta test your game out elsewhere.
I've been thinking...with Alisha Lewis off to Strong Island...is that enough to knock Ursuline out of the top spot this coming season? I have to think Hendley's staying if Lewis is gone and you still have Maggie Connolly for another year.
