he became a point guard this year POY hands down his all-round game has improved. I could see him playing D-1 ball somewhere
Donte was POY when he actual had to carry a team. Mikey was POY when he carried a team. Westbrook should be MVP this year because he is carrying OKC.
The last person to average a triple double Oscar did not win the MVP in that season as wellIf Westbrook average a triple double and his team does not make the playoffs he still should win MVP only one player in the history of the NBA has achieved that..its a once in a life time thing
Westbrook had a triple double last night against the Spurs and Won the Game.
I see why Cale was mentioned but being signed can be much more political than being awesome. He's a great player and should do good at Seton Hall, but he hardly let his team to an outstanding season. Mediocre at best. The also lost to st George's in the regular season.
True about Matthews. He has a solid team and that's why they are in the finals. He's a solid player but hardly top in the state yet. #20 did limit him last night and that's what a little pressure will do.
Matthews not POY IMO and would only be mentioned now because the team is in the chip. But that's why there is a team championship and player of the year. If Smyrna wins it proves they had the best team all year, not the best player. They have a system that works. Matthews isn't ready for that honor. He has time.
CO POY Matthews and Rawls. Not up for debate.
Matthews has proven he can be a great scorer but his leadership skills and the growth in his game from being a spot up shooter to a all around player is why I believe he is the MVP this year he really gets his teammates involvedI see why Cale was mentioned but being signed can be much more political than being awesome.
