Anybody close to 18th and Broom know what the story is there. Second straight game he has missed.

Still would like to know Drake's situation: injury, disciplinary case, grades (you are off the team for an F in any course). He'd be a great player on any team

Tail get over it.. Penn was better just admit it.. Sals coaches pooped the bed.. Thought they could just ground and pound with Penn and they couldn't.. Under estimated Penns run D when passing was easy pickings..Hard heads
Yeah Tail, what RR said!!! LOL

Drake hasn't played since Middletown. Heard he might be done for the year. Starting DE #84 ACL out for the year. My Intel says that 2 other starters did not play last night due to infraction of school rules.

If it is all chalk and Slowskys beat Tech and Sparty they should host Concord first round. If they lose one of those 2 they are probably out of tourney picture.

Hearing Sals missed 3 2-way players last night, something is up down there

Drake is out on injury. I've heard shin splints or a high ankle sprain maybe. The other 2 starters out on discipline. An infraction that I wouldn't be surprised cost them their seasons.

Drake is a game changer...all over the field and was just fun to watch when Sals came to Smy. Can't imagine how good he must be in lacrosse if fball is his 2nd sport. Heard he's off to ND next year...that correct? Hope the young man is back on the gridiron soon.

Not sure what a 2-way player is...wish I was more familiar!!

Mike verbally committed to ND for lacrosse a few years ago. And a two-way player is out there on offense and defense.

As to Jawnsky's point, with all those names on the roster, there has to be someone who can step in and be a serviceable replacement for him. This isn't Archmere with 35 kids on the team.

Sorry, that was sarcasm.

Smyrna has no 2-way players.

The kid also returned kick offs. Is he a 3 way player?

Kid is a special lacrosse player and honestly if the scholarship is decent (many in lacrosse are only partial) then he might want to hang up his football cleats. ND offers don't come around often.

Drake is a special player on both sides of the ball. They miss him - a lot.
Sallies should have enough players to fill in his role, not completely but still fill it. They have a large amount of talented players that sit the bench until senior year. They shouldn't have a problem finding another good player out of the 100 that they have to choose form on their roster. Any other team would be more than happy to have that many players to pick from on a team.
