Middletown will no longer play Friendship collegiate in Week 7.
However, they picked up IMG academy and will travel to Florida to play.

Prayers sent. That said, if I was a player on the team, I'd be looking forward to it.
They won’t be playing the A team from IMG. They have two varsity squads. Typically that second team plays mostly in state Florida teams. The skill level will be wide, but it’s not like they are playing their A varsity team with 4 and 5 star guys starting at every position. No IMG are FHSSA members. Just just don't play in the state tournament
They willIf I was a parent of a “good” Mtown player, my son wouldn’t be playing! If my son’s safety and future games/season is in the hands of some subpar teammates I wouldn’t even consider it. Yeah, he can go on the trip and enjoy the experience, but playing vs grown men??? Nope!
IMG probably can beat DSU and give U of D a good game........ijs
MT is playing the A team! And we aren't sure on how we are getting down there just yet.
Blum is family, and that's how I know.
Kids can get hurt in any game, we baby them today and that’s why our generation considers them soft. Our parents would never say, that team is to good, to big or to mean. Our parents told us to get the heck out there and compete. Then, win, lose or draw, they told us they were proud of us. Civil rights, Korean War & Nam. Our parents lived in time of action. Stop making our kids soft and play ball! Sorry for blabbering but I have strong opinions about playing ballWhatever 84. It’s nuts and kids will get hurt. You can take balls out play anyone attitude all you want. But MT is going to get demolished and for D2 points.
