I knew they would win this game. Knew whitehead would be instrumental too. I was right, again. Middletown is the top team in the state.

Fry can really throw the ball and is very accurate,,Also can zip it when he needs to as well as throws a great long ball..He throws his recievers open.. Its different then what Smyrna does,,Smyrna is all aboout getting guys the ball in space and attacking mismatches.

An offense that can score coupled with what I think is the best D in the state is a recipe for success. Its not very often a team has a top D and and a top O in the same year

The only down side I saw was they had difficulty within the 15.. seems they need the field to be comfortable but that might be because Penns front 7 is pretty stout

FYI I was the lone #1 vote for MT in last weeks comp poll

I still stick with Smyrna as #1 but Middletown is a close 2nd. As mentioned above, they had problems punching it in from shorter distances. Missing PAT's was also a problem (though Smyrna solves that by going for 2). Was also surprised at the number of penalties for both MT and WP today for too many people on the field, delay of game, etc. Obviously correctable but surprising. Frye is the real deal! Felt bad for defenders a few times as they were doing a good job but the ball was in exactly the right place.

Frye's only downside he doesnt get much zip when going backward or on the run,, I am guessing he is a pitcher in baseball as he needs to have his feet set to deliver..Shortstops can throw on the run because they can set their core and throw from that,,, To be effective to throw on the run or off back foot you have to set your core, be able to square your shoulders and throw from your hips as a base, pitchers throw from their legs as a base.. I think Henderson is better in that aspect but Frye is young and can figure that out.. That said the way to beat Frye is to pressure and put him on the move.. Penn wasnt willing to do that..

I have watched allot of football in my time and watched alot of QB's Frye made some passes today that you dont see very often at the HS level .. other than the National recruited up teams

Don't forget the impact player here which is whitehead. A player like that is invaluable and I think there might be a 2nd? A younger brother perhaps. That being said and this is free of charge... Boomer Sooner tonight! You heard it here !!

Whitehead had 2 1 yrd plunges for TD's other than that wasn't much of a part on O today.. made a few plays on D though

The inpact players todaywas Frye and his recievers most notably #6,There was no real stand out on D other than they were all good and played great team D and did their jobs

I thought he also had a few of the longer receptions? DelPercio did a great job catching the ball today too.

I think whitehead is huge on defense and had a pick today as well. Just saying I think he is special. Don't know him and don't like Middletown btw.

I would check that rr. Without whitehead ... Middletown is even with SALS at 4 in Cuty Rankings
were you even at the game today?.. Whitehead is good and a very quick athlete but is not that much of an inpact player that Mtown wouldnt be good without him are you related? yeah I saw the INT he reacted quickly to a tipped pass and it was inpressive but I didnt see alot of tackles.. very good player yes

#3 Kedrick Whitehead....RB/LB
#2 Jalen Whitehead....WR/DB

They aren't related. So when you here Whitehead deep down the field...it's usually Jalen, one of the faster players on the team.

Kedrick was a HUGE part of the success the Cavs had last year, but for the most part, he value is on defense. #15 and #13 are holding their own at the RB position for now. Take my word for it though, when you need Kedrick in the backfield, he'll be there, but why play your best player on both sides of the ball when you don't need too? I was disappointed last week when I didn't see him lining up back there for most of the game but after having it explained to me...it makes perfect sense.

Was not at the game. I pretty much repeat what I hear on the radio. Sorry for the Boomer Sooner pick, that was Anthony Gargono's fault

That's the difference between DE and places like FL, GA, TX, CA, etc teams are so big no one goes both ways. Only teams in DE that can do that are Sals and MTown.

I have not seen Smyrna yet this year but last year I don't remember any of their skilled position players going both ways.

Didn't know how big Smyrna was but did for the other two. So throw Smyrna in still not many can do that, nice luxury if you have those numbers.

When the opponent is wearing down and you can roll out fresh legs makes a BIG difference.
