Newark at Christiana

I remember once upon a time when the Christina School District rivalry was hot and heavy between Newark, Glasgow and Christiana. Times definitely have changed.

Newark rolls 85-39. Running clock the entire 4th quarter. Pretty nice crowd but the cheerleader battle was more competitive than the game. No Drumgo-Sharpe for Newark. Didn't need him. Finally got to see Turner #2 play for Newark. I'd seen him two years ago put up 30 against Newark playing for Moyer Academy. This kid has some serious skills. Lightning quick and can jump out of the building. Very active defensively. Had a very impressive alley-oop dunk. Hope he returns next year and can play an entire season. His brother must have had close to 15 assists in 3 quarters of action. Take back my no basketball skills comment about Booker in another thread. He did some nice things out there tonight. Christiana is just bad, period.

Christiana: Wilkinson-9, Daniels-8, Brajan-2, Bell-5, Green-11, Jackson-5

Newark: Hodges-12, Kin Turner-14, Knox-10, Kw Turner-18, Booker-7, McCants-3, Marshall-2, Carter-2, Zegna-4, Craig-3, Jenkins-9

Gd report , I was there also. Only thing Booker doesn't play anymore , what number was the kid tonight?

By ""The Kid", do you mean the younger Turner? If so , he is #1.

There was another new player for Newark tonight. #31. He had some good minutes too. Anybody know who he is??

Do you know if anyone records the Newark game?

I see people with video cameras at the games sometimes. I don't know what they do with the videos
