NFHS video shows the clock expired way before Dover hits the game winning shot vs. Smyrna.
The reason the NFHS clock was zero when the shot went in is because the clock operator in the gym stopped the clock at 1.7 seconds until T Wood got ball. Then she quickly started it again. I know because I was filming and was looking directly at clock when it stop. Our book keeper caught her as well. Oh well better luck next time. Good shot. Wasn't in regulation however....Who u wit is correct. The shot was clearly good. I was there and no one in the gym argued at all.
they got 10 seconds to get the shot off.. It was a hard fought game by both teams. Not true....Scorekeeper didn't stop the clock......The NFHS clock was at :08 seconds after Dover's timeout (Which was wrong). The game clock said 9.4 seconds remaining....is what it is.

Unfortunately my camera was focused on the floor. I was watching the clock and saw it stop at 1.7 seconds then restart again. The game doesn't decide either teams future. There's still a lot of basketball to be played. Good luck to all teams.@cwt1964 If this is true & you have this on film then why not post the video as others have done?
Oh OK...fair enough. I missed this game & kind of wanted to see how the end played out. Both of the teams should be able to compete w/ these teams upstate come tournament time. That Smyrna vs Cape game this second time around should be interesting too.Unfortunately my camera was focused on the floor.
