Per Trez:

“Delaware had just 199 yards total offense to Sacred Heart's 236. Quarterback Nolan Henderson completed 17 of 26 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.

CAA Offensive Player of the Year Dejoun Lee was limited to 34 yards on 12 carries. Delaware had just 102 total yards on the night before taking possession midway through the third quarter. But Spruill had four carries for 26 yards to put Delaware in position for a 53-yard field goal by Ryan Coe.”

Next Sunday at Jacksonville State could be a tough outing. Go Hens.

It’s a shame that the games aren’t on regular ESPN. I already pay for ESPN 3 because of college basketball interests.

Strange that Henderson had his best game at UD last week and his worst a week later. Actually, the UD offense has been so so since the DSU game. Teams are figuring out that they do not run particularly well, so stop the quarterback. It came close to working last night.

dove, all that may be true. Based on their effort against the Hens, Sacred Heart has a solid program. Hens wide receivers were getting very little separation from Pioneer DBs. To be competitive next week, Nolan will need a Nova like performance and the D will have to be superior. It might get ugly quick....

Didn’t know that. The Hens will then be getting some more national exposure. Tough one next Sunday.
It’s free on most service provider plans. ESPN+ however, does require a subscription.
Glad many can enjoy it, but again, it’s the only game among the 4 next week that won’t be shown on ESPN or ESPN2. Hope the worldwide leader is able to change that by Sunday.

Looks like Hens are anywhere from 3-5 point underdog at Jacksonville State on Sunday. They were 19.5 point favorites over Sacred Heart.

Hens come through again. This time on the road. Henderson got beat up pretty good.

Hens just beat a team whose only loss was to Florida State back in the Fall in this fragmented season.
And Mercer this season. Biggest problem now is to fix the running game which is non-existent. Blame goes to the running backs by the O-Line is the problem. A lot of big guys who are too slow or not strong enough. The parade stops Saturday.

dove, not even a 24 hour grace period for Hen doomspeak. The Hens just won a big one on the road. Let’s check the medical report in a few days. This team seems Texas bound,

dove, you have been consistent in that sentiment. The Hens have 4 months to address that issue.
BTW, I think SDS may have won the Mid American Conference.

Are you rooting for KC Keeler's crew next week?
