...looks like the ACC has rescued the Irish by allowing them to be part of their FB conference this year. As ND is full conference participant in all other sports, this makes sense, The personal relationship between ND AD Swarbick and ACC commish Swofford makes this work.

Hey, in case the power 5 conferences play FB in the Fall...let me say for the first time this year

College Conferences are dropping football this season like flies this week.. ACC will follow suite.. The only major conferences holding out will be SEC and Big 12 but they will likely follow suite..

JUST IN: The Big Ten will reportedly announce the cancellation of the college football season tomorrow after presidents voted 12-2 in favor of canceling


DP was told an hour ago that the Big 10 and Pac 12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow... The ACC and the Big 12 are on the fence.. And the SEC is trying to get teams to join them for a season.

This whole thing from the Governors office to the Principals or Head Master is complete passing of the buck.. No one wants to make the decision and no one wants to be responsible for it... I get it.. One kid gets sick and dies or takes it home and a grandparent dies then the law suites will fly..

It really doesn't matter what the athletics association say or do, ultimately it's up to the schools whether or not they will put their kids out there as they will be the ones that get sued if it goes bad...

Irish Offense looked putrid today. WR’s got no separation from Duke DB’s. The D looked solid.

Why does Kelly think Tommy Rees is ready for the OC Job? Scary, indeed.

Urban Meyer is available. Father Jenkin’s should guarantee him $100M for 8 years at the end of this year and let Kelly go to the NFL.

I can’t take it any longer.

On the bright side...Bummy was impressed by Tony Dungy's work as a color analyst.
He is obviously a studio talent on NBC Sunday Night Football. I didn't know how he would work out in the booth.

Dungy did not sugar coat the Irish failings. He was on target from the beginning.
I loved his closing comments where he referred to the Irish as "we." Something like --We have South Florida next week then we better be ready for the ACC. All the old Irish fans love to throw the "we" word around. Another interesting exchange concerned this was Notre Dame's first Conference football game in their long history....speculating on what it would be like for ND to lose their first conference game.

Coach Dungy, welcome to the family. You are all class.

"The Notre Dame-Wake Forest football game scheduled for Saturday has been postponed after the Irish announced 13 players are in isolation.

In a statement Tuesday, Notre Dame said seven players tested positive for coronavirus out of 94 tests done Monday. Combined with testing results from last week, 13 players are in isolation, with 10 in quarantine. As a result, Notre Dame has paused all football-related activities. The two schools are working on a date to reschedule the game."

Once we start DE HS FB...look forward to the possibility that this can happen with the scheduled games.....this may be challenging....

and their last week's opponent - USF - has postponed their game with Florida Atlantic...this could be the beginning of team to team spread and may actually kill college FB this year...hope that is not the case...






Why has the NFL been successful at limiting the spread thus far? This has to be a good model to work from....

Cuz them college boys wanna go out and look for trim.. Pro's can afford to have it tested and delivered..haha
 
Disgraceful performance today against a mediocre FB team. #4 my foot.

Look for the Irish to lose the next 5 in a row nad for Clemson to lay a 50 burger on them.

4 of next 5 on road. Horrible Offense
