I know you have all been waiting for this :). Sal frosh finish 2nd straight unbeaten season with a 21-0 win over Downingtown East. Only blemish on the record was a 13-13 tie with Malvern Prep.

It means strike up the band a parade down Broom St. the next 4 years !

I wouldn't parade too quickly. All coaches I know of except of Dinardo (Sals) and Coach K/ Mitchell (Concord) believe in letting their freshman play JV and varsity. Most of the other schools freshman are already playing JV or Varsity. Only those they feel are not ready to move up either on skill or necessity play freshman.

That's great!! What does this mean?

AI.....I do not usually agree with Dove's approach but there is some validity to it. Salesianum is becoming the place to go (like they were not strong before?) ...they are close to a point where they may have to leave the DIAA to compete at a higher level (not gonna happen).....but Delaware teams are going to stop scheduling them again. Why you ask....why not is the better question....sure WP is back and MT is and will be solid, but what other programs are can we say will be strong enough to compete with them for the next 5-10 years?
Just my take. And on a personal level.....I miss seeing the other out of state teams come to Baynard....Baltimore Poly.....etc

Salesianum is one of the few Delaware schools that has a football program. Most schools just have teams.

How did St. Mary Magdalene CYO do this year?
