Not so quick Dove, they might be starting on Varisty and can't play freshman ball. JMOPenn, MT and Smyrna football may need help a year or two down the road. Sal freshman beat all three by a combined score of 127-12
Charter Schools are the futureI wouldn't read too much into that . A school full of all boys should have a good frosh team.
Major advantage

dove continues moonlighting as Salesianum publicity agent. The good news is that by the time these guys are seniors maybe they will hold Smyrna to under 50.
When you bring 60 kids to a freshman game you should beat every team handily. At most schools the best freshman play jv. Sallies only beat Middletown jv 27-26 with MHS going 1-4 on 2-point plays. MHS jv has outscored opponents 232-41 with 27 going to Sallies and shutting out Penn 21-0. Freshman QB has close to 20 td passes in 6 games. We will be ok.

Sorry Ollie but I'm of the belief that picking the best 11 out of 60 or 25 is a huge advantage. And the fact that Sallies draws from three states. Come on man!!! They should beat every freshman team handily and do.
Just checked the freshman record from 2010 to now and only 4 losses of which 3 were to Malvern Prep which recruits. Only other loss was to St. Mark's in 2011 at their height of success. I think I've made my point. And if the best freshman from MHS played in the freshman game it would've made a difference. Not sure enough to win however.
