Saw the game... great coaching by Penn. They play defense upstate. Trust me you'll see how well the update teams fair come tourney time.
Holy crap! What the hell happened in this one? Stansbury had 3 points? Hodgson had 10 points as a team at the half? Whatever it was, that may have punched Penn's ticket into the States

That has always been the issue with down state teams. Most don't play defense. Games turn into track meets and layup drills.
That aint defense.. Neither team has offense.. Iam very confident in downstate this year..
Nobody dont want to see no teams. Hold the ball 2 to 3 minutes. But u call that defense.. Smh
For years downstate teams have lost in the state tournaments because of defense. Championships are won with defense. Last years championship final score was Sanford 39 St George's 32 and i don't remember anyone slowing the game down just tough defense. In fact one semi final was Sanford 38 Mount 30 too.
The teams with the most talented players win championships. Especially at the HS level.
The teams with the most talent get through the first 2 rounds but don't always win. I would argue that last years Mount team had the most talent and lost. Besides Donte and Shane Clark the 2015 Sallies championship team was not exactly loaded going 10-10 during the season. Before the game did anyone think the 2013 Howard championship team had more talent than Sanford? They beat Sanford by 19.
Talent and coaching.. Mount stacked last year .. Stan out coached her easily..got to have a little coaching too.. Lol
