Easy .. Move into a new school zone... DE has school choice,. It doesn't even matter what zone but just a different one.Originally posted by WoodenStick:

Still wondering how that black & cherry transfer rcv'd the DIAA OK to transfer and play his sr year... Been wondering all year.
Penn hasn't played a meaningful game since Concord 10-18-14 5 weeks ago.Originally posted by GateKeeperRefugee:
Penn hasn't really played a meaningful game in three weeks or so, so I'd be a little concerned with how they start out and that might work to the Spartans advantage.
Keyword: might. Still like Penn to win this one.
Really how about Montclair, Concord or Sallies? He shredded Montclair who would beat anyone in Delaware including Penn. An no not everyone can pass. How come no one else does? He adds a dimension that they have not seen this year. A team that can both run and pass.Originally posted by Threedogs3:
Any body can pass the ball against DMA and St Es he hasn't thrown the ball against a Defense like Penn and that D-Line
You have no idea. His first 2 TDs against Montclair tied the game at 14. His third was the opening drive in the third Q made the score 29-21. I am sure Sallies were just letting him throw too. Concord is so bad they were leading Penn after 3 and tied in the 4th.Originally posted by Threedogs3:
They were getting crushed by Montclair that was all give me yards and Sallies they were playing 10 yards off the receivers and Concords DBs stink
I guess playing them once already does not count?Originally posted by DEFENSEREST:
I agree DOGS St. Mark's has not seen a defense yet like William Penn's . Cant wait to see how Williams reacts to the pressure from the Penn DEFENSE
St Marks only in state loss was to Penn. Williams did not play. They had the ball in the red zone more than once and did not score. Game was 7-0 at the half and 10-0 after 3. Final score was not as close as the game. They beat Sallies, Concord and Sussex Tech.Originally posted by DEFENSEREST:
Yes Old Timer they played once already and GOOSE EGGED them 24-0 I think it will be even higher scoring this time for PENN . If my memory serves me correct PENN controlled the whole third quarter that game and had 3 penalties that held them back during their drive . I just think this is PENN's year they have been tested all year from day 1 and passed each test every time beating St. Mark, Salesianum, Middletown, and Concord all big games for PENN not too mention the blow out to Newark .
rr, you probably know more about the case than I...but I think that there was probably a waiver of the rules due to a hardship as outlined in...section 9. DIAA has granted waivers periodically. In Jack Holloway's last year as DIAA director they granted a couple of students a 5th year of eligibility. The students had repeated 9th grade....Originally posted by ravensrooster2:

2.4.4.3.3 The transfer is the result of a change in residence by the custodial parent(s), legal guardian(s) or Relative Caregiver to the attendance zone of a public school that student was not attending. If, as a result of the change of residence, the student could now enroll in a different public school, the student may make a one-time election and select any school including a private school. A change in residence has occurred when all occupancy of the previous residence has ended and a new legal residence has been established. Maintaining dual residency for purposes of athletic eligibility shall render the student ineligible.
