Salesianum’s victory over William Penn has given the Sals the tiebreaker edge for the top seed in the DelawareSportsZone.com playoff projections.

Concord’s week 10 loss to Middletown left them on the outside by the slimmest of margins over Mount Pleasant, who won the conference battle between the two teams earlier in the season.

Smyrna and Mount Pleasant, two teams light on playoff history, will likely meet up in the opening round, while Middletown and Sussex Tech will meet for the second straight post-season after Middletown won 35-7 in the semifinals last year.

The DIAA will announce the official pairings, along with game dates and times, on Sunday.
