Henderson posted via Instagram that he is forgoing his senior season at Pitt to enter the NFL draft. Good luck to him.

He's a huge threat in the kick return game. Arguably the best in the country. Don't know if staying one more year would help his draft stock

Wouldn't be surprised if Brian leaves as well. I've seen him going as early as 16th in some mock drafts. Plus Pitt graduated a lot so I don't imagine them being much better next season

How can any of you say this is a mistake for this young man? Pretty sure he's talked with the right people and is doing what is in his best interest. I see more negativity towards some of these kids on this board than anything else. As if any of you have ever been in these kids shoes....let alone the opportunities they have created for themselves and their families... smh

Congrats to Quadree and his family! Best wishes to you... Delaware is proud of your accomplishments and want to see you continue to do great things!

'Pretty sure he's talked with the right people and is doing what is in his best interest."

I can guarantee that the "right people" are not Scott Boros but probably a guy with a spanking new "sports management " degree from a fly by night school. I hope Henderson went to school during his summers and has enough to graduate, fine. If not, a chance for a college degree from a good school is a terrible thing to waste.

And why would you assume that genius? Do you know him? Do you know his family? Do you know the coaching staff and NFL liaisons at Pitt? Have you been in the meetings he's had? Again an uneducated opinion about a situation, kid and family you know absolutely nothing about.

Proud of Q and whatever his decision is. Since going to PITT. He has always wanted to be drafted and take care of his family!

congrats to the young man, nothing but best wishes for a bright future, we will definitely be rooting for you #Delawareproud

Congrats to Q! Hope the best for him. I strongly believe he and his family have done their homework, and are working with an agent who knows their stuff. Any good agent has already received projections from NFL franchises that have given projections of his draft order. When those projections are high (Rounds 1-3, maybe even 4), you take it!

Regardless of how it works out, he can always go back to college. It's always a gamble either way. If he comes out and doesn't make a team, or if he stays and risks injury. As I said before, he can always go back. Many people get upset about football players coming out early, but high school kids are still going directly to the Olympics and playing baseball every year. I don't hear too many complaints about that.

Lets look at it another way. If my son was a computer engineer major at MIT and he was offered a million dollar salary by Microsoft during his sophomore year of college, I wouldn't encourage him to stay in school, I would expect him to take the job. Him staying in school for two more years doesn't guarantee anything, when his dream job is already available to him. Worst case scenario, he goes back to school to finish. Difference now is, he has money in the bank and can fund his own education and care for himself.

Could not have said it better myself.
