I liked the spunk the CR Quarterback has and hope that team has a great season. I remember at time when Salesianum and Saint Marks were a lock for the finals and low and behold it ended up CR and Newark.

Honestly, I don't know why CR's been so down in recent years, Delaware high school football is more interesting when they're competitive.
1975.....Rocky Rees Jackets beat the Sals and Joe Purzycki's CR team .....then CR beat a JR. Dutch Hoffman led Newark team for the title. Seems like yesterday......
CR being one of if not the biggest HS in the state, you would think they would be more successful then they have been over the year. 1, 2, or 3 years just hasn't cut it. Shoot they had an article in the paper about bringing in a new Offensive Coordinator and he is bringing back the old school Wing-T again. It should be an interesting year, being the 3rd year with the new head coach. Could be make or break it for him.
Dover could possibly have a bounce back. They are similar to CR having a lot of kids to choose from, but they have also had a few head coaches over the years. If the QB is as good as they say, he could possibly lead them to a rebound season.

Speaking of Dover.....heard through the grapevine that he tore his ACL during practice, can anyone confirm this? Will be such a shame if this is true. Because of him, there was a bit more spark this season for Dover.
If true sad news i was looking towards seeing the young man play and lead Dover back to contention.
