From looking at their schedule, Milford only has 9 games this year. The team missing from last year is St. Andrews, but St. Andrews plays Seaford this week. Just curious, does that count as a forfeit and Milford get the 4 pts or what? Could be big when playoff time comes along if not

Remember it is a point index, not just points, determined by total number of points earned divided by # of games played. Not having that extra game won't hurt unless they don't take care of the games they are suppose to win. In terms of the index, it really has minimal impact.

I spoke with the AD over the summer and it sounded as if they released St Andrews from the contract. Having said that, someone who I respect and is well connected to the program thought it was going to be counted as a forfeit. My thought is that it will just be a bye week. I honestly think it doesn't matter. There will be no bonus points available out of that game for Milford, so it should have no impact on the points index.
