Since we have a Wednesday Game (and likely some games to possibly be moved around because of Zeta), Why not an early Week 2 preview/thoughts thread?
Week 1 was what you'd expect from 40-plus high school teams with a few weeks of practices and no scrimmages, but there's still a pretty good idea of who will contend and be there at the end...wherever the state title games are held. Let's see what Week 2 has for us.
Game of the Week: William Penn at St. Georges, Sat. 10/31, 12 pm.: The Hawks looked pretty solid in holding Appo scoreless until the final seconds while Penn did what was expected of them and then some, hanging half a hundred on Mount Pleasant. Can the Colonials work their way back into the days of perennial contender-ship or are the Hawks as good as advertised? We will soon find out.
