Smyrna goes to the air second half when Dover was containing Knight

Wilson 18 of 29 for 349 yards and 3 TD passes.. QBR 124.1
Roberts 8 rec for 187 and a TD

This could spell trouble for other DE teams in the play offs if they load up to stop WK hmmmm Smyrna has this coaching thing going on just saying

Judy maybe the best DE HS offensive coach.......ever.........

Marks runs the offense Judy the line.. just saying Judy like any good HC has guys in coordinator positions that put the work in.. Any good leader is only as good as their employees... I was once told by a great General Manager,, " I am only as good as what happens when I am not here" meaning having quality sub managers and employees

A couple fewer misses and fewer dropped passes and he could of had 100+ more yards and two more touchdowns. Easily his best game (especially best half). He ran the ball well too. He will have more missteps but he definitely seems more comfortable and confident in the offense.

I remember when this board was picking the young man apart. Now as we get to what Magic Johnson calls winning time, he's starting to put it together. Smyrna vs. Middletown Part III should be fun.

LOL, there was quite a bit of chirping when Judy was letting him throw the ball early in the season when it would have been so easy to hand it to Knight. Glad to see the young man is progressing in a positive direction. It's not easy learning a new system as a senior.

For the last time (I hope) Judy does not call the plays or run the offense Coach Marks does

I understand that, but ultimately the responsibility resides with the head coach on all decisions. I have to believe that Marks and Judy had discussions about how to develop Wilson. I do however get your point, that Marks is the one who was the teacher.

Many times the HC leaves the O and D to his coordinators and stay out of their way and just handle the politics, press, parents and in game decisions like accepting or declining a penalty, going for it on 4th time outs ect.. also the head speaker and motivator as well as keeping on them about grades and what not. Point being HC is a politically appointed position and the coordinators do the coaching sans the HC's who are also coordinators
