S.C.R.O.T.M vs IMG

Since IMG Academy is an All Star team, I just heard that DIAA was 'juggling' with the idea of taking the best kids from the middle of the state, more specifically Smyrna, Clayton, Rural surrounding areas, Odessa, Townsend, and Middletown to more effectively challenge IMG. Who knows, with the SCROTM team, the game might be in the 'bag' for DE. Sure, the game would probably feature some 'sacks' up the middle, and lots of 'wrinkles' in the play calling. But either way the DE kids would be 'balling', even if they came back a little tender! The two teams would be quite a 'pair', going for all the 'marbles'! I can't trust my source, so if anyone can confirm...cool 'beans'.

Let's combine Smyrna and Middletown, hell let's say Delmar and Milford. The best of the 4 championship game teams and take them to IMG.

I totally agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if this whole Middletown vs IMG never happens.

Your states all stars would compete . If you actually picked the best players from all the teams and put them on one. Would not be a blow out. Problem is you would not pick the best players. For example if it was picked after all Conference honors went out you would have probably left the best player in the state off the team. Considering you guys had Wormley as only a second team all Conference player. Lol still can’t get over That. The problem is at the top Crazy backwards compared to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland. On a side note IMG is also playing Pine Richland from Pennsylvania this year.

We wouldn't have a chance even if we picked an allstar team from those teams back when football was good in delaware....WP, Sallies, Newark. Well maybe a couple of those Newark teams when harris brothers, etc. were playing. But certainly not now. Teams winning the chip today, wouldnt have even made it in the tournament not that long ago. Sad and depressing to see the sport decline like it has in delaware.
