Sallies? Definitely winning D1 title?

Nice provocative thread title. The Sals are losing a lot of talent...,the whole backfield has to be replaced. There is the usual challenging schedule. I don't want to sound too pessimistic but.............

Same sad song every year from Ches.. but somehow the Sals are always in the mix,,must be the superior coaching :p

Have to be heavy favorites to win it all. Doubt if anyone can challenge them .

Buc, you forgot the sarcasm alert.

At least, ravenrooster followed with the smiley face....

and raven...I have seen a lot of coaches come and go....but nobody is a better fit for the job at the Big S than BDN.
I hope he stays at the Big S for another 15 - 20 years.

I'd have to say the Duck Creek Roaders would be the favorite coming out of the gate because of two reasons: Knight and the Quarterback. One of them gets hurt, all bets off. The Sals will have a hard time replacing Reeder, Jerome, Cathers but they have a lot left. Zach Gwinn will be a pretty good replacement if BDN allows him to throw more than 30 passes in the season and watch if they don't try Josh Patrick at running back.

@Ches...
BDN needs to retire...
he's a flip phone in a I phone world..
like a old shoe, needs to be replaced eventually ...
hahaha

I don't know what either team will be like next year but I believe that Smyrna has shown that they can adjust when either Knight or Henderson goes down.
