I'm glad somebody is stepping up to renovate the place, as it is in desperate need of it. Probably best that Sallies stepped up to handle the project rather than let it get mired in city or DNREC politics, as they certainly want a great facility for their team to play and know how to run such a fundraising campaign. If I understood correctly, wouldn't Sallies also be the one getting the money from any additional uses of the facility (DIAA evets, TOB's, private events, etc)? If so, that would help offset some maintenance costs going forward.
