If the players returning are so great then they would have won this year or at least made the play-offs .just saying
They should be embarrassed if they AREN’T in the conversation every year !!
Quite honestly I believe this year the preliminaries should be skipped. Smyrna & Middletown are clearly the best teams with no other even on the radar. The talent level in DI is diluted whether it be because of availability of schools spreading it thin or just because kids have other interests and don't participate.
Say what? Looking at what I saw in the 3 games I attended. The graduate a lot of starting seniors. My sense is that they are heading for a .500 record. BDN should pull a 2008 and start a lot of underclassmen.
Next year's seniors = the till is nil.
An all boys school who gets to pull from not only DE, but surrounding states, sorry but sallies should make the playoffs EVERY single year in my opinion.
Next years seniors went undefeated as freshmen and have added transfers. They will be the best team in the state next year. Will go back to having a big dominant RB. Will have good QB as well. Good WRs returning. Need a decent line and will win the Championship
Freshman team records again lol you do realize most teams in DE good freshman play varsity dont you? hmmm what transfers? do tell
This years Seniors went undefeated also as freshman. How did that work out for them?

I believe Two Transfers that will be seniors next year started on this years team at linebacker.
Number 5 transferred from Caravel. The games I was at he was all over the place making plays.
lol there was no kid that started at CA that transferred except Nelson to Friends

Not many freshman start for Varsity. He starts for Sals now and I'm just saying that they are gonna have a great team next year I don't see any holes in their team.
If you are a player you start at Varsity at CA as a freshman CA only has 30-33 payers. Not down playing the kid at all of course kids develop in HS just saying but he wasnt anyone I heard about when he was at CA
I don't know anything about him at caravel but he is a heck of a player now. Scored a defensive touchdown last week and would've had another if he didn't trip up. Always making plays.
As long as Drew Fry and Nicky Johnston are healthy, Middletown will be favored next year.....I'll go out on a limb, if it's not the Cavs, it will be Hodgson. Young team this year, nice size. QB looks solid and still improving. They will be a force these next few years.

Salvo did good with what he had to work with but he needed a bigger line than what he had in front of him. Sallies was small compared to previous years. To do what Dinardo wants to do, he has to have. Dominant line and they were far from that this season.

I don't know if this is true but I've heard they do have a big running back for next year already on the team. The big fella # 8 played freshman year but has been at TE recently. Will probably get moved just like Patrick did.
None of that will matter if the line doesn't perform. They failed to do anything against the top teams they faced.

I was just saying a few kids transferred the point of this wasn't to just talk about him. Just saw him play a few games the end of the year. 25 is just as good if not better. Point is will have a good team next year and be back in the playoffs.
if you say so.. but I wouldn't bet on it just saying a penny saved is a penny earned
If Sallies weren’t afraid of change and recruited out of their element they would be dominant in every sport every year!!
MTown will not be as good as expected only have those two coming back. Sals and Hodgson well rounded.

BTW, I got a text Friday night from a friend who informed that the Slowskys had no offensive delay of game penalties called on them this year. He told me that I would have to stop calling them the Slowskys.....as promised. I don't remember the promise but I have said put out so much BS on the Sals over the years maybe I should refer to them more respectfully.....what does the brain trust think?
