Sanford vs Friends

54-48 Sanford??? Anyone see this game yesterday. From the box score it looks like friends gave Sanford a scare last night! Friends went into the 4th Q up 40-36

Friends played hard and well. Probably their best performance of the season. Sanford hadn't played in almost two weeks and it showed. They were rusty and sluggish. Performed poorly. Of course "poor" by Sanford standards is still good enough most days.

Friends did play very well and had a lot of intensity. Outside shot was not falling for Sanford. Biggest issue was the injury to Davis (8th grader) in the second half. Young man is very talented and Sanford will need him down the stretch to make a run in the tournament.
