@ Art Howard needs Conrad to win to get in,, There is only one spot TH, StM and Howard can get,,, St M impossible so its between Howard and TH .. Howard can only get in with a DMA loss and a TH loss

To be honest.. of the 3 teams Howard is most deserving based on their body of work vs the others..sans the 44-16 loss to Archmere opening day

loss to St G 30-6
loss to Smyrna 56-36
loss to Glasgow 18-14

St. Mark's losing Colmery during their tough stretch with the foot injury hurt them. I've seen them more than anybody in DE this season and they had the heart and the talent, they just played a tough schedule...unlike Tower Hill. Howard really played well this year well aside from the St. Georges and Archmere games, so if the defending champ gets in like that, I have no problem.

St Marks schedule didn't end up as tough as it looked on paper preseason..they didn't beat a team with a winning record.. Neither did Howard for that matter... I am willing to call this one a draw but flip it to Howard for scoring 36 on Smyrna and playing Glasgow to a 18-14 game and beating HVT by more. HVT being the best team either of them beat

Congrats to the Redskins.. as they will lose that majestic name but they save the validity of the DIAA pt system and end with a rivalry win . forget what the PCers say.. I say!

St marks strength of schedule is better . It's that simple .

St marks didn't have the luxury of playing Mckean, Dickinson and Christiana like all the Flight B teams did. They did play Brandywine.

CR scored 21 points in the 2nd qtr against Smyrna. Maybe they should get a look in DI.

ok dude ,, if the strength of schedule was that better then they would have more points than Howard.. MAX/Cal Preps will have St M's SOS as higher but that is because of having Sallies on the schedule and they over value playing a D1 team so Newark gave them a boost for SOS.. but if you really look at it its pretty close sans the sallies game which they were never going to win anyway

Also with Mt Pleasant beating Appo today . Howards 15pt win over Mt P looks much better actually a better win than beating HVT

We can look at this another way.. If Howard played St M today who would win? I think Howard would beat them and pretty sure most on here would agree

Truthfully Conrad should've been in the conversation. A couple of possessions against Tower Hill and St. E's could've gone either way and they'd be 8-2. Once they figure out their midseason jinx, they'll be dangerous.

Conrad's schedule allows for little development early in the year so when they face the tougher opponents mid-season they are slow to respond. This is a team that no one would want as a first round opponent in the playoffs.
 
St marks would be 7-3 if they played Howard's schedule. Howard finished with 6 wins and a loss to an Archnere team that St Marks destroyed .

St marks is the better team . Point system fails in this instance.

Before today DMA was projected to be 9-1 but met up with a team that most thought would be a pushover. Guess again. You have to play the games.

depends on when Howard played Archmere.. Howard always sucks the first game of the season.. but right know I think Howard is the better team. just my opinion

The beautiful thing about the Howard/St. Mark's chatter is they actually start a home and home next season, so we'll get to see for real. Should be fun.
