Dover’s Spencer just got about it his 7th block to start the break, ran the floor & caught the oop off the backboard...56-23 heading into the 4th quarter.

@8yaz, Dover wins 64-24 & I had them to win of course but I wasn’t expecting that. I’m not sure how they beat St.George’s, Mt. Pleasant & CR but I saw absolutely nothing positive out of that team tonight.

Newark had a number of fans in Dover tonight (including the always rowdy “Pop”...LoL) who left the game saying nothing but “Well I bet they don’t do that to Sanford!!!”. So hopefully we at least get to see the matchup in the Chip.

Saw Dover for the first time tonight. Davis is the real deal! Quick, handles it very well, real nice outside shooter. All around solid player! Spencer runs the floor very well and is a great shot blocker. They are a tough team. They press and create havoc for the other team. Once in a while they got a little sloppy on offense, but overall they look very good. BTW, they beat Newark 64-24.

Wasn’t impressed by Newark at all. I see they some wins over decent opponents not sure how in the world that happened... Congrats to Dover for the undefeated season! Hopefully Wilson doesn’t fumble like he always does in the playoffs now.
Henlopen people should we actually put our faith into Dover... A Henlopen team winning basketball again would be great. Can’t stand Dover but I hope they beat those private school tools.
Dover is talented but they’re always a different team come tournament time. I’ll never forgive Wilson for letting me down the year we played STM at home with JA and those boys and lost. I have ZERO faith in Wilson in big time games. He relies to much on his players to do all the work. No game plan involved at all, just tells his kids to play street ball which works majority of the time because they’re simply more athletic and talented than most.
Yeah, I thought they would get humbled at Dover but I didn't see a 40 point humbling. If anyone thought Newark was a threat to go deep in the tourney, well that's just not going to happen. One win if they're lucky.
DoverSenator....smh...Coach Wilson works his a** off and you don’t have the success that he’s had by not game planning. I was at the Stma game and JA and company didn’t show up!!! This team is completely different than that team as they get after it defensively! According to the paper Newark had 8 field goals alll night.....20-0 is no small accomplishment and Wilson is responsible for their success.
Cmon man I’ve been following Dover sports for YEARS. Wilson is a good guy no doubt, but all the talent he’s had throughout the years and nothing to show for. You honestly think they shouldn’t of beat STM even with JA not playing his best. They’re hosting a playoff for crying out loud you can’t lose at home the way they did. I wish nothing but success for ANY dover sports team I’m just being real is all. Not sure Wilson accounts for “a lot” of the success haha he has two of the best guards in the state matter of fact TWO of the better players in the state he should have regular season success.
The most talented team he had went to the finals vs. Trevor Cooney and company. STMA went to the bob that year and I agree it was a huge upset. I’m pretty sure he’s helped develop those 2 guards into what you see on the floor. Last year in the tournament they almost beat Sallies in there gym with 3 sophomores on the floor Give that man his credit...I get it.. when he goes 20-0 it’s because of his athletes...when he loses he’s a horrible coach.
