well sir you obviously dont know your sh**, lets try to keep the stupidity to a minimum in this thread, alright guy?

Is Noah Taylor there? That boy moved around schools so much. Is he a legit college recruit?
Nope, Noah ended up going to Friendly or Friendship in MD.
Only DE boys there now are Chris Cropper (St. E's) and Randy Fields (ECA). There were a couple of kids that went there during preseason but came on back home to DE. They travel to Arizona to play a top team out there next week to finish the season.

Lots more may go this year.

That reply wasn't to you DukeDog1. fanoffootball made a comment that I was replying to...........
And just who do you think is good enough to play for SFA from DE???
Took 3 - 4 Delaware Players last year. May be more from a playoff team this year.

I just think it’s a stupid topic . Do you like gossip? Who cares who goes to St Frances .

The playoffs are going on and you want to talk transfer rumors, which are most always just rumors to a school that nobody cares about .

Ok so I took the bait .

2 players from Delaware play for St Frances . Neither one looked to play a key role against Gilman last week.

St Frances won whatever division they play in and now they move on to some bowl in Arizona .

Big deal. Football factory. Hope those kids are getting a real education . Not everyone goes pro. We’ve got enough uneducated youth around already .

Ok I’m done .

There are no underclassmen in DE that would stand a chance in playing Varsity on that team, honestly. Especially now that they've inserted themselves as a national powerhouse with that former Gilman coaching staff.
P.S. Both Cropper (LB/DE) and Fields (WR) are both starters, however Cropper separated his shoulder a few weeks back and isn't due back until the game in Arizona.
#bewareofthehaters Dukedog1, all we are doing is having a little convo.

There are some that could play and have been approached, but you already know that I would assume.

I’m not too familiar with the players from “slower-lower” but as far as the ones you named from NCC, there’s not 1 player on your list that would touch a SFA varsity football field unless it’s a blow out and the starters are done for the day........ Trust me!

Honestly you have two players that have been contacted on this list, but then you put kids like knock on here that could not play for the JV at St Frances. Not to take anything away from some of the kids but you are putting their names out there with no real insight on the matter. You also obviously don’t know who in the state has received invites to camps that require one because their names are not listed. Your list tells me that you just pulled names out of the air. Or you know them personally. After the winter and spring camps you will know who will be leaving the state. Posting kids names without really knowing the process is not good it just Speculation. Some of the kids being looked at are still playing on the four teams left. Alleyne is the only one that you can confirm publicly.

“They” contacted the players or some of players are interested in going to SFA?

The list of names are players from I said from DE from STF "COULD" target for next year if wanted, not that it has actually happened in response to Swag. It is all speculation until the kid steps on the field with them next year. There are players in DE that can play at STF and their will always be a handful that will leave their school for a chance to play at a school like STF. Cropper is a perfect example that after 3 years of running around DE HS fields and giving lack luster effort on defense he is now busting his behind every play at OLB just for some exposure to pursue his dream of playing college football.

Prep you post like you know quite a bit but sometimes it can be a little over the top. Example what does knowing all of the kids names that receive invites to camps that require one have to do with who from DE could end up in STF. Absolutely nothing. There is no process to it like if I want to get into college I have to A) fill an app B) file for FA C) be accepted into school. There are different avenues for a player to get to a school like STF to play football.

They recruit every where, and use those types of things as a measure. There are two types of players at schools like STF. The ones that they bring in to play and anticipate to start. And the ones that they don’t anticipate to start, are above average HS players that won’t need aid to attend the school. Sometimes the kids from that group surprise and win a spot. STF does use a very streamlined process for Identifying recruits . However you are correct occasionally kids go there that are not part of said process. Competition at camps with verified numbers and film all play a part.

And I know because they send out what they look for to companies like ours to build list for them. They ultimately decide on personal evaluation. But the kid runnign a 4.8 at WR would not show up on any recruiting list they want. Sad I know but true

Not said just all preference like there are some D1 colleges with no receivers running faster than a 4.8 primarily because they only want WR 6'2 or taller.

Prep need to get your information to HS coaches to try and get some diamonds out the rough.

Obviously you are a big numbers outfit. Do you guys look at kids that don't have the measurable's, ones that mostly show up on film? How do those kids go about getting found?

Coaches always make the final decision on game film. They use the metrics “ that are provided by them in all cases” to shorten the list to look at. But yes there are always kids that pop on tape. Usually they show up when the coach is watching another athletes game tape. First step quickness something that is widely accepted to be genetic like speed is the most common thing that shows out. If you stop the film at the first frame and you have a linemen exploding off the ball while everyone else is still set it kinda shows. Kids get found many ways, just a lot of the college are getting more analytic. Nothing makes me happier then to see a kid with none of the measurables get an offer. There are plenty of kids out there that can just flat out play ball. It is however getting harder from them to get looks.

They did last year..........Thais a Fact. My Nephew was recruited by them last year. He did not go because his Coach who we love cared enough to sit down with him to convince him to stay. Best

Ok, I think we've officially beat this dead horse long enough.............lol

On to the DE State Playoffs we go!!!
