This should be a interesting game. Both teams have gotten better. Coach griffn benched his two keys players in the first matchup and Glasgow won by 12. since that game St. Georges is 14-2 with their backcourt combining for 45+ in the last 6 to 7 games. The battle of the guards should be a good thing to watch. Which team role player is going to step up huge in this game?? Thats the key to this game.

My criticism of Glasgow coach was harsh early in the season for what I felt was a unprepared undisciplined team, he made a 100% turn around & for that I commend him. Congratulations to this program, u guys are a symbol of how hard work & doing things the right way produces success
Great match up! Glasgow has made great strides over the season and with the benching of Rawls and Hyland last match up think St. Georges is out for some revenge. Only losing by 12 without them tho, Glasgow better be ready to play! Those 2 are most of St. Georges production. This will be a great test on each team's guards ability to play defense and keep people in front of them.
Yes when I talked to Hyland he said the reason was they didn't have their team sneaks on. I believe that cost them the flight B championship and a first round bye. Glasgow and StG were tied but with the head to head win GHigh won flight B and got a bye

Probably was but more the brand of shoe than the actual shoe. Both of those boys play Under Armour AAU so more than likely they tried to wear their Under Armour shoes and the team shoes are Nike. Extra high high top LeBrons with velcro straps those boys have worn low top shoes all year every game
That is ridiculous. No way they would be benched for that in a high school game. Must have been something else. Whatever it was I am glad the squad will be a full strength. Should be a good game.
They were benched the entire for not wearing team sneakers! That was a great move by coach griffin! It got them both to buy in. Winning flight B is not the ultimate goal. The goal is a state championship! Benching them showed the rest of the team a lesson and challenged their competitive nature without their big 2. They hung in that game with Glasgow early in the year! Now look at their role players! If you ask me their role players are why the advanced last night! Hustle plays, block shots, rebounding, diving on the floor etc. Great decision by coach rod. St. Georges will upset the #1 seed Sunday night at the bob. Kyson Rawls is on a mission! He is a big guard and knows how to get to the basket. They are all locked in. They have been the championship 2 out of the past 3 years! The third time is the charm!
