Nice job oldskool. I have Caravel ahead of AI and Sussex Central at 8. The 18-2 loss to Sallies sticking. If Sallies had beaten Cape would have them at 5.

Thanks Oldtimer22. I went back and forth with A.I. and Caravel. I personally think Caravel is better and would win if they played. But thats just my opinion. So i looked further and saw that both are 1-1 against the top 10 teams and 3-2 against the top 20 teams. So i looked at who they played. A.i's top ten win over St Marks was more impressive than Caravel's top ten win over Sallies. A.I.' top 20 wins are more impressive as well. Then drilling even deeper and looked at common opponents. Both played St Marks, Sals and Charter. Ai beat St Marks, while Caravel lost to St Marks. Caravel beat Sallies, A.I. lost to Sallies. A.I. 10 run Charter, Caravel won 7-4. Advantage A.i. So every way i looked at it on paper, i see A.I. slightly higher.

My rationale for Central above CR was that Central beat CR. When i have two teams so close i generally go head to head.

I can't really argue against the way you have the teams listed though.

Wood...i think Poly is good right where it is. All the teams ahead of Poly have more wins against the top 10 and top 20 than Poly does. Even though Poly played well against CR & Arch, Poly still hasn't beaten anyone ranked higher than them. Poly will have an oppornunity this week against Smyrna and Cape.

Cape is a hard team to figure out. They beat Sallies and blank Tech (both top ten teams). But then barely beat Seaford and Wood as well as losing to Milford and now IR. Cape is where it is in the rankings, because it does have those 2 wins against top ten teams. Poly doesn't have any.

Sallies is a good team that if it plays well can play with any of the top 4 teams. They lost to Caravel & St Marks by 1 run and they beat A.I.
