Texas’ ranking was the most surprising to me.
Another statistic I'd like to see us the number of power 5 recruits that leave and go to a lower status conference eventually. That number is staggering. That and due to perception and laziness by the coaches they tend to go to areas where there is a lot of talent concentrated in one area. Hence the Maryland numbers which is really just a few schools mostly.. SFA, MIAA and WCAC.. not that the public kids in Maryland don't get recruited they do but at the same clip as everywhere else.. but the big numbers and power 5 offers are from the ones I mentioned

Not to change the subject but this is REALLY true in lacrosse. Kids in MD, LI, New England, PA and NJ from about 100-150 High Schools acount for like 90% of call D1 lacrosse committments.
Floirda, Goergia, etc are pumping out incredible amounts of recruits - pretty much all the skill players on Bama, Clemson, etc - If UF, FSU and Miami could get them to stay home like th e80/90's they would be machines again.
Delaware is a lot higher than you would think at #10.

I wonder if the actual # of D-1 football recruits from Delaware is available on the NCAA websiteTexas’ ranking was the most surprising to me.
