Sussex Tech vs Slowskys

Thank you as always Uncle Bummy for your meticulous research. With your permission I shall forward the link to Coach BDN to show on the bus ride down again and again.

I see a running clock, Sals shuts down ST offense. Reeder another monumental night!

Think this one will be closer then people think, Everyone here thinks tech is a huge pushover and that theyl get stomped. To many people on the Sals bandwagon right now for anyone to think otherwise.

Posted an hour ago, Brad Myers has The Slowskys in a tough spot.
At least, I am not the only person who sees the Sals dropping this one.

Brad mentions the long bus ride.
I know I haven't posted much on here but I've been reading for 3 years now and I will tell you after what I watched Smyrna do to ST on NFHS that you and Brad Myers have been drinking early and often! Barring some serious injury/injuries over the next couple of weeks be prepared to see MT at SALS and Smyrna at WP in the Semis. Of course, it is just my opinion but I would imagine SALS will leave no doubt tomorrow.

Different year, different team. And, since that game, the scores have been???

And once again, Uncle Bumf'er stirs the pot.

yeah I'm not buying the "tough spot" logic.

Talent usually wins out in high school football and Sallies is just a more talented team than Sussex Tech. I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Sals win in blowout fashion.

Running Clock 2nd half, Sals dominates line of scrimmage & Reeder puts on a show!

Sals by at least 3 tugs...

I've seen both- ST is a darn good football team, but Sallies is heads+shoulders better. As long as Reeder is healthy they will dominate.

Agreed- I do not anticipate a running clock....this year ST is a good team, last year they were a VERY good team. They were the better team when they met the Sals in the playoff.
IMHO- this year....the Sals show up ready to go as BDN said-lesson learned from previous let down game. Sals by 2/3 scores. Biggest key.....Salesianum will only go as far as #28 takes them.

So Sallies beats WP and all of a sudden they're invincible? Please. They could have easily lost to Dover two weeks ago

Yeah but they didn't lose to Dover. They just beat William Penn who hadn't been beaten in 19 games. They've beaten everyone except for 1 out of state team. Right now they are the best team in the state.

Are you saying that you think ST will win tonight?

im saying Sallies can be beat. If ST beat them, it wouldn't be an upset. ST playing with out Griffin against Smyrna would be the equivalent of Sallies playing them without Reeder. Can't use that game as a measuring stick of ST

I've seen ST play 3 times and with Griffin. They're a good team but they aren't as good as Sallies. Sometimes the best team doesn't win so there is always a chance. If ST wins it would be an upset.

Sallies isn't invincible but they won't lose tonight.

Ball....welcome to the forum, always good to see and hear new opinions!
No- Sallies is not invincible if by chance you were using my post as a point of reference. They can be beaten-already have (FJ). Last week means very little as well, a team is only as good as they play in any given game.
....I predicted Sals to win it ALL------ long before the season-had them ranked #1 wire to wire and I still believe that. .....if Reeder misses time OR does not continue his current pace, the Big S will be in trouble.....No way they beat WP/MT/Smyrna and probably several others in the mix.

And if ST wins tonight-that will be a huge upset.

I guess "Alca..." has replaced "Balla..." in reality.

The better team won. ST didn't come to play. I was more impressed by Smyrna the couple times I've seen them. I'd like to see Sallies and Smyrna play again. Hope they get matched up somehow in the playoffs. Sallies play well on both sides of the ball last night though.

Smyrna obviously a threat to any team on any given game day. sallies handled all three threats but I suppose the gang thinks Smyrna is the only team capable.

Any team that makes the D1 tournament is capable. I know this sounds crazy but St. Marks is more than capable of upsetting the Slowskys. The game is critical for the Slowskys as a win guarantees a first round bye with the resultant automatic semifinal home game.

I will explain later this week how 3 underdog St. Marks teams have beaten the Slowskys in the last 8 years. I would say it is a 50-50 proposition for the Thursday night game at UD. Standby.
