I never said that.. Thinking one team will win the league is not suggesting the others aren't any good..
Saw them last year against Friends, I thought they had some talent, especially at running back, but we'll see what happens now that they have some expectations on them. Friday Night Lights at Tatnall should be interesting to say the least.
You're right I said that wrong, that's not what I meant. I'm just saying I saw Tower and Friends play them last year and I thought both of those teams handled them real well
Russell is a good coach and Tatnall is rising but that whole league is average at best. Caravel, Hodgson, St Marks, STG, etc would rail road any of those teams
Dude last year - one of the worst in a while for STM and they beat Caravel, Hodgson and should have beaten STG.
And honestly Tatnall, Friends, TH, etc is a lower level of football then all those schools I listed and that's why they go 9-1 or 10-0 and get smoked in the playoffs when ever they make it.
Really? As I recall Friends and TH barely lost to state champions Howard in the playoffs... @delawarenole
considering STM lost Rice im not even sure they will put up any points this season
Tatnall barely beat St. Andrew's and lost to Harford Tire and Hair Care Center Tech...

Jeff thats the beauty of HS football it changes every year,, Thats why it kills me when guys rank teams high just because they were good the couple years before,, I totally disagree with HS's idea of ranking last years champ #1 just because they won it last year... HS teams turn over and change every single year,,
Not sure what your watching. Friends in D-2 semi finals last two years and lost in very close games. Not sure how you define that as getting smoked!
RR - I actually don't like ranking last years champ first the following year either, but lately it's kinda hard not to do that when you have teams like Middletown, and Sallies and Smyrna winning it. I do know there were two years where I didn't rank the years before champ as the 1 the next year. Those being 2013 Middletown after losing Wade and Godwin, and then 2014 after William Penn lost their duo of athletes.

Nothing at all against Howard but 2015 was 2015!
I can only think of 3 flight b vs D1 matchups. I wouldn't be surprised to see st. George over CR and Glasgow over Newark. Penn will beat st. George I believe. I forgot smyrna vs Howard. 2 out of 4.

How about the biggest D1-D2 matchup of all.....does anyone think St. Marks can hang with the Sals? Or (depending on what happens through out the year with their tough schedule) beat Sallies and keep them from reaching playoffs?
