With a lot of top teams losing a lot, who are teams to look out for this year...what teams return key players??

In the Henlopen South, Delmar and Woodbridge definitely return a lot of players. Delmar returns all 3 Quarterbacks (talk about a Luxury) they almost sound like Bama in the Title Game. Delmar also returns Dennard. They do lose Parker and the MLB. Those are 2 huge losses, because Parker was that other threat that had to be defended in their option game and the MLB was a terror in the middle of that defense.

For Woodbridge, I believe they return like 9 starters? Haynes, Kane, the younger Mosley, Keeler, Massey, Wescott, just to name a few. They could be extremely dangerous. With all the speed they have though, maybe a change in the offensive scheme could do them wonders.

Other than those two, Lake is young, Laurel doesn't have much, Seaford is Seaford, IR was terrible last year and Milford loses Bowman. Will be interesting to see how life without Bowman is for Milford, but they do return a lot of of players.

Well said ^^^ & Agreed! Woodbridge and Delmar will most likely be at the top of the list. Woodbridge also has a great middle school team coming up who was undefeated. Some may possibly start varsity as well.
What about Henlopen North??? Smyrna, and Central losing a lot... what about CR, Tech, Cape???

_TK44 Woodbridge has one of, if not the best middle school team in the state every year. The difference now is, those kids aren't going to Sussex Tech, they are finally staying home. Also, while it isn't that big of a deal, but Woodbridge JV went undefeated last year and they destroyed everyone.

Dover is always one of the most athletic teams in the state, they just have to figure out how to best utilize that talent. I think Smyrna will be interesting this year. I know they lose Knight and the QB, but they are a big team and I am sure they have replacements. Cape will have a new head coach, so maybe they will finally get away from the Wing-T. Lastly, CR loses a lot of talent. That senior group really helped turn around the program, but that was 1 year and those players are gone. What can Candeloro do now is the question, because you already know, they are still running the Wing-T.

Oh trust me I’m aware about Woodbridge lol my brothers (Kane boys, Kani and Ricky) both went to tech from Woodbridge. If Kani and the boys he took with him stayed Woodbridge would have at least 4 state championships right now! As far as the north I’m thinking Smyrna, Dover and Tech, Tech returns pretty much everyone and picks up Kevin Custis from IR

I'm so tired of hearing if people didn't go to Tech then Woodbridge would of won three or four state titles (blah....blah....blah) . Those individuals that went to Tech made a choice, they should live by their decision. No one made them transfer or twisted their arm. What I have noticed since the Woodbridge athletes are staying home Tech hasn't done anything athletically. It seems to me when it comes to Tech sports they rely on Woodbridge athletes to bail them out.

Tech loses pretty much the whole defense and key Offensive players. And Custis is at IR, if he did go to Tech he would have to sit out.

I really think Woodbridge building that new high school helped them significantly when it comes to football and sports. Since that school has finished the football team has gradually gotten better. Those Phillis Wheatley boys have taken notice and instead of a few going to Tech, they are all now staying and playing together at WB.

Charter without a doubt. They have the type of schedule that can put two teams in the tournament, even if they have no business being there.
