Duke and Kentucky doing every year.. Lol@Downstate4 that would be a game changer. Another rent a player for a year type of situation? Glad I don't coach in this era. Absolutely no loyalty lol.
Duke and Kentucky doing every year.. Lol
Newark had a decent season this year and I don't think they had a senior on their team. Good choice throwing them in there1. Sanford

I don’t think that Dover ever thought they were ever playing for 2nd place & they showed some confidence in the Chip. I’m not a fan of moral victories but I think that you can learn from losses & I believe that they’ll be right back in the same position next year w/ a very good shot. Even though they loss the game I don’t think too many people walked away from that game thinking that the gap between Sanford & Dover was was a big one. I think Sanford even realized that themselves. Anytime you have a lead on a team in the closing minutes & they are fouling you intentionally to put you on the line to ice the game I would think that it is clear that the game was within reach. Dover was up 3 shooting a 1 and 1, missed the front end then fouled a 3-point shooter who calmly nailed all 3 free throws to tie it up which was basically a 5-point swing. Kudos to Sanford for doing what they had to do to pull it out, but like I said the gap is not that big.Just like this year, everyone playing for second place next year.
No Tech .. Straight to Cape... @84rider. You know me.. If iam talking news like this.. You already know it's about to go down this summer.. Oh yea Jarvis Jarvis from Milford will transfer to Cape in summer too.. Lol.. Iam like Stephen A. Smith.....That’s if Barnes plays at Cape, if he plays at Sussex Tech, they will be battling Dover for the Henlopen North.
I would understand Corey maybe wanting to come home for his senior year but I’m wondering why the other players. Archbishop Carroll plays like 30 games of top notch competition over there in the DC area & in different tournaments throughout their season so not sure how they would benefit from coming to DE w/ Corey as opposed to playing against teams like Gonzaga, Paul VI, DeMatha, Good Counsel & other privates over that way who have big time D1 players.Yes Corey is coming home.. Him and coach Re worked their differences out..lol oh and he not coming alone either.. Cape 3 next year.. If he is bringing his piont and big fellow with him.. Easily number 1 next year..lol
At the end of last season, I said Sanford would win it all the next two seasons. It's on this board somewhere. One down. One to go. And I can't stand em. I would love Dover to knock them off. Or any other public school.I don’t think that Dover ever thought they were ever playing for 2nd place & they showed some confidence in the Chip. Yeah, ain't gonna win much money betting on Sanford. Pretty much the favorite every year. You are like the female Kreskin...you can predict the future. Sanford has even better balance in the sophomore class so it may be 3 in a row.
They are kids. What is it about them that you can't stand? At the end of last season, I said Sanford would win it all the next two seasons. It's on this board somewhere. One down. One to go. And I can't stand em. I would love Dover to knock them off. Or any other public school.

That's correct. I root like hell for these private school kids and all DE HS athletes when they move to the next level.I agree with Rider, it's more about the name on jersey, not the kids wearing them.
